Who We Are
As FFA members, we work on developing life skills such as hard work, ethics, public speaking, and of course, leadership. While doing this, we are able to grow socially, professionally, mentally, and emotionally in order to reach career success. We also pass down our beliefs and values to newer generations ensuring that life will be better for those who are yet to come.
FFA is a youth organization within agricultural education that was created in 1928. FFA stands for Future Farmers of America; however, the organization is better known as the National FFA Organization.
Our Brawley FFA chapter was established on November 21, 1936, with 24 members and Dwight J. Thomson as the advisor. Our chapter today is led by our advisor, Michelle Taylor, and has over 100 active members.
FFA Mission
The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
